Uncle Ned comes to the Bar 10 Ranch with a wealth of experience as an Outdoor Trail & Camp Chef.
As a boy, his Grandfather taught him the basics of cooking while they spent their summers together in the mountains of Central Utah herding sheep.
From what he learned in those years he later wrote a cookbook entitled, The Secrets of Sourdough.
Uncle Ned was a cook in the Army, a Chef at the Wilkinson Cafeteria/Banquet Center at Brigham Young University, and he says he has cooked for too many Boy Scout,
family camps and hunting trips to count.
He has won a number of Dutch-Oven cooking contests and was recently featured as the Trail Chef for the Bar 10 Ranch on The Food Network's popular program,
BBQ with Bobby Flay.
